Quick and Funny Last Minute Halloween Costumes

Time is ticking and you realize you have everything ready for this Halloween, less your own costume. You could attempt a dash to the nearest party costume rental shop..but probably it’s already too late and you’d have to settle for what everyone else refused.

Don’t despair! There are a few quick and easy ways to turn your disaster into victory, and with a lot of humor, too. All you will need for the following last minute costumes are items that most certainly you already have in your house. So, let’s get started.

1. Costume Not Found

Take inspiration from the internet and turn your lack of costume into the actual costume. Dress in ordinary clothes (well, maybe you want to put on an old T-shirt that you planned to discard soon) and draw a 404-Page Not Found style of message on your chest. You will be surprised at how many likes you will get when you post your Halloween photos on the social media!

2. Life Gives Lemons

Have you heard the phrase “when life gives you lemons..” at least one thousand times yet? We bet you did, so take it up and put it into practice. You’ll need to scribble Life on a T-shirt and walk among your friends at the party handing them lemons from a bowl. Talk about life imitating art, right?

3. The Identity Thief

Now, this is so simple, you won’t even ruin an old shirt for it. Just stick post-it notes onto your clothes with random names written on them. On second thought, secure those post-it notes with small safety pins, you don’t want them to fall off and lose one of your assumed identities…

4. Fifty Shades of Grey

Get your mind out of the gutter and don’t scamper off to buy some weird BDSM costume. Take pieces of papers displaying actual fade-out shades of grey color and attach them to your T-shirt. If you decide on the literal version of the book costume, you do it at your own risk.

5. Ghost

Scariest, most effective and easiest to achieve Halloween costume. Just throw a white sheet over your head. You may need to cut some holes in it if you want to walk around without guidance and eat and drink at the party.

We hope that at least some of these ideas will work for you. We’d love to hear some bragging about how cool your Halloween party was, so don’t forget to leave a comment.

Happy Halloween!
